Trailscene

The aim of this website is to support the trailscene. It is not an organisation, a company, a committee, a campaign or any of those other awful things. Its simply a place that exists to enable communication between people who dig trails. It is run by the diggers, for the diggers.

There will be articles to help people without much experience and give information on all aspects of digging trails. There will also be the opportunity to discuss new ideas for the trails. The site will also provide support to people whose trails are threatened by land owners, and try to help them keep their trails if at all possible. Hopefully the site will help diggers meet like minded people and keep the scene united.

I have been wanting to do this for ages as I think it will help the trailscene to grow, which is what we all want. The last thing anyone wants is for the scene to become organised in any way as this starts to take away the freedom which we all want. However if we can encourage other people to build trails and help each other in times of need, then we should all benefit from a stronger, larger trailscene.

If you have any ideas for things this site needs please let me know. To work well this website needs people to contribute. This website is a work in progress. It will change and grow as new ideas get added.
